Leaders of eastern Ukraine's Lugansk and Donetsk mobilized their citizens to join the army as evacuation trains with women, children and pensioners from the two regions arrived in northwest Russia's Rostov.

The leader in the Luhansk region has signed a decree on the voluntary mobilization of men over 55 years old, TASS News Agency reported on Sunday, citing a local document.

The head of the Donetsk region Denis Pushilin called on the entire male population to come to the military commissariats, according to Russian media RIA.
