CGTN has the chance to talk with Chinese Olympic gold medalist Su Yiming's coach, Yasuhiro Sato. For the past week, stories between Chinese snowboard gold medalist Su Yiming and his Japanese coach Sato have hit headlines in China. Su has became a snowboarding idol to tens of millions of young aspiring sports fans.

Sato became the coach for Su when he was 14 years old. In less than four years, the master and his student worked together to break history. Su won a gold in the men's snowboard big air final and a silver in men's snowboard slopestyle during Beijing 2022 Winter Games.
