Russia calls on other countries to recognize Luhansk, Donetsk

Russia's foreign ministry on Tuesday called on other countries to recognize two breakaway regions of Luhansk and Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.
Sputnik news quoted the ministry as saying that Moscow's decision to recognize the two regions was made on the basis of the provisions of the UN Charter.
