The support from the Chinese mainland, including medical experts, testing personnel and facilities, has enhanced the capacity of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to fight COVID-19, an HKSAR official said Monday.

Sophia Chan, the secretary for food and health of the HKSAR government, said that the experts from the Chinese mainland have affirmed the HKSAR's anti-pandemic efforts after several days of inspection. Given the complexity of the pandemic, these experts will stay in Hong Kong for some time to understand more about the situation.
