Russia has confirmed its receipt of more than 96,000 refugees from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions as of 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

Interim Minister of Emergency Situations Alexander Chupriyan said the refugees were allocated to 230 resettlement points across 12 Russian regions, and that over 800 people required medical assistance, with 76 being hospitalized, including 34 children.
