Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov asserted on Tuesday that Western sanctions against Russia will not only hit international markets, but will also affect the interests of the American people.

"The U.S. hopes of using sanctions to change Russian foreign policy are futile because Russia is used to living under Western sanctions," Antonov argued.
