UN refugee agency 'gravely concerned' by fast-deteriorating situation in Ukraine

"We are gravely concerned about the fast-deteriorating situation and ongoing military action in Ukraine," UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi said in a statement on Thursday.
The UN refugee agency also called on countries bordering Ukraine to keep their borders open in order to accommodate any refugees fleeing the crisis.
