Following the 26th UN Climate Change Conference and in line with China's goals to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, many Chinese enterprises have started their corporate net zero research and planning process. Industry experts have urged standardized policy guidance to deal with climate change and reduce carbon emissions.
"I think what many foreign countries that have achieved carbon neutrality have done right is that they have come up with a very specific standard for enterprises to follow, whether it is a framework for an industry, or a guidance. I think China needs to formulate its own standard, and can even promote it to other countries in the future," said Liu Xuesong, founder and CEO of Bottloop, a fashion brand from Beijing, who aims to address expectations of being vogue in a sustainable way.
