Estonia and Latvia announced that their countries will close airspace to Russian airlines in response to its military operation in Ukraine, according to local media.

Russia on Saturday restricted airlines from Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic from flying to and over its territory due to "the unfriendly decisions" made by those countries, according to the Russian civil aviation authority.

Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic each said on Friday that they would close their airspace to flights by Russian carriers.
