Slovakia on Saturday declared a state of emergency in connection with the mass influx of Ukrainian refugees into the country, RIA News Agency reported, citing the Slovak Cabinet.
Polish Deputy Interior Minister Pawel Szefernaker on Saturday said 100,000 people have crossed the border into Poland from Ukraine.
The UN refugee agency earlier Saturday confirmed that more than 120,000 Ukrainian refugees left the country.
"We now see over 120,000 people that have gone to all of the neighbouring countries," the Deputy High Commissioner for UN High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR) Kelly Clements, said in an interview with CNN on Saturday morning.
