The All Media Service Platform (AMSP) jointly created by China Media Group (CMG) and its global media partners was officially launched on Monday.

Shen Haixiong, president and editor-in-chief of CMG, announced the launch at a ceremony, which was attended by heads of nearly 30 media outlets and organizations from around the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Shen said the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics was a grand gathering for all mankind that added warmth, confidence and unity to the world amid the COVID-19 pandemic, providing an excellent platform for global media to exchange views and cooperate for win-win results.

According to statistics, the cross-media coverage of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics reached a total audience of 62.814 billion people on CMG's platforms, far exceeding that of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. As many as 2,107 TV stations and their new media platforms in 110 countries and regions around the world cited and broadcast CMG's content 97,000 times. It is this innovative development of media cooperation and customized services that have given birth to the platform.

Shen also stressed that by building this platform, CMG hopes to expand new channels for global media cooperation, further uphold the principle of defending the truth, jointly cope with challenges, achieve win-win results, and vigorously promote the common values of mankind.

The attendees to the online launching ceremony spoke highly of CMG's initiative to build the AMSP.

The AMSP is an all-media interactive service platform that combines content exchange, content display, business exchange, customization for global cooperative media and functions for overseas reporters on the basis of the existing video news material and content services, giving full play to the advantages of integrated communication of CMG.
