The Chinese mainland recorded 200 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, with 75 linked to local transmissions and 125 from overseas, according to data from the National Health Commission.
A total of 144 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 1,097 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.
Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 109,526 with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January last year.
The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region is as follows:
Hong Kong: 80,121 (18,926 recoveries,744 deaths)
Macao: 81 (79 recoveries)
Taiwan: 20,489 (13,742 recoveries, 853 deaths)
