China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reported 34,466 new COVID-19 cases and 87 deaths on Monday, according to data released by its Center for Health Protection. Since the start of the pandemic, China's central government has sent more than 120 personnel, including epidemiologists, doctors and testing staff, to help the region fight COVID-19. On February 27, construction work assisted by the central government began on eight mobile hospitals for community quarantine and treatment.
