Two people were killed and 16 others injured in a Russian airstrike on the Zhytomyr region, Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, 12 people, including six children, were rescued from an underground bunker. Rescue operations are still underway.
