While many people prefer taking photos of lotus flowers in their bloom in spring and summer, Liang Hong, a 60-year-old bank employee, is keen on photographing withered lotuses.
Liang has been photographing withered lotuses for over 30 years. He says that the poetic scenery is not only aesthetically pleasing to him but also inspires him in his photographic hobby. He believes that life is a circle, and the plant shows different shades of beauty in different stages in its life. Withered lotuses in autumn and winter have a special kind of charm that needs to be appreciated with patience.
