German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Israel on Wednesday for the first time since taking office, according to AFP.
Scholz toured Jerusalem's Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett before a planned meeting with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and a visit to Israel's parliament.
