Italy declares a state of emergency amid Russia-Ukraine crisis

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi Tuesday declared a state of emergency that will remain in force until December 31, 2022, amid the Russia-Ukraine crisis. It will also send weapons and aid to Ukraine, according to a decree approved by the Italian Council of Ministers on Monday, local media reported.
