Guo Yujie and Wang Zhidong have been named as China's flag bearers ahead of Friday night's Beijing Winter Paralympics opening ceremony.

Guo is a cross-country skier and biathlon competitor with upper limb disabilities. The Hebei native finished third in the short distance women's standing group at the 2021 Euro Cup in Finland, and won three golds and three silvers at last year's National Para Games in Xi'an. 

Wang is an ice hockey player from Shandong with lower extremity disability, and was a key member of the Chinese teams that took part in the 2018 and 2021 Para Ice Hockey World Championships.
