The Two Sessions, a key event in China's political calendar of 2022, will start on March 4 and 5 respectively. 

The 13th National People's Congress (NPC), the country's top legislature, will open its fifth annual session in Beijing on Saturday, and the fifth annual session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is scheduled to open on Friday. 

As a window to observe China's development and deemed as an embodiment of the vitality of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics, the Two Sessions draw worldwide attention every year.
