Earlier Thursday, 141 UN General Assembly members voted to demand Russia immediately withdraw its military forces. China was among the 35 countries to abstain. China's ambassador to the United Nations noted that the draft resolution submitted to this emergency special session for vote has not undergone full consultations with the whole membership, and didn't take into full consideration the history and the complexity of the current crisis.
