China Media Group (CMG) on Friday released a statement on authorizing major provincial satellite TVs and radio stations on the Chinese mainland to broadcast the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games.

The authorization is in compliance with the relevant copyright rules of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the International Paralympic Committee, CMG said. 

CMG is the exclusive rights-holding broadcaster for the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games on the Chinese mainland and Macao Special Administrative Region.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics will kick off on Friday. According to CMG, multiple domestic TV channels and radio stations and new media platforms will simultaneously broadcast the opening ceremony.
