China has decried the "politicization" of human rights on the Ukraine issue. China's ambassador to the UN Office in Geneva, Chen Xu, spoke at an emergency debate of the Human Rights Council on Thursday. He said China opposes the establishment of an independent international commission of inquiry on Ukraine. China opposed using human rights issues as a pretext to exert pressure on other countries, Chen said, adding that China doesn't support any act that may stimulate conflict.
