EU unanimously backs protective measures for Ukraine refugees

European Union interior ministers have unanimously backed an EU plan to offer temporary protection, including residency rights, to Ukrainians fleeing the Russian advance, EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson said on Thursday.
