Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has spoken by phone with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken about the crisis in Ukraine. Wang said the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries should be respected, and added that the Ukraine crisis can only be solved through dialogue and negotiations. He said China encourages direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. Wang also urged the U.S. and NATO to engage in equal dialogue with Russia. Blinken gave the U.S. view on the situation in Ukraine.
