The Chinese mainland recorded 329 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, with 175 linked to local transmissions and 154 from overseas, according to data from the National Health Commission.

A total of 209 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 1,647 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 110,868 with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January last year.

The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 187,478 (21,888 recoveries, 1,774 deaths)

Macao: 82 (79 recoveries)

Taiwan: 20,797 (13,742 recoveries, 853 deaths)
