6 dead after fire in residential building in Taiwan region

Six people were dead and six others injured after a fire broke out at a residential building on Sunday in Taichung City in China's Taiwan region.

The seven-story building caught fire at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and huge plumes of smoke were seen at the scene, according to local media.

There has been no report on the cause of the fire so far.
