Professor Yang Jia of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, who is visually challenged, has devoted her life to helping those with disabilities. She is also a national political advisor and has been promoting new technology that will make the Braille writing system more accessible and flexible. The technology has been applied at the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games.
