WorldSkills Shanghai 2022: Interview with CEO of WorldSkills International

Shanghai is set to host the 46th WorldSkills Competition in October. 

The biennial competition held in different parts of the world is considered the world championship for vocational skills. CGTN reporter Wu Bin talked to David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International, mentioning that China is creating opportunities for young people to be inspired and take up skills. "This event is part of China's innovative strategy to bring attention to the importance of skills and attract more young people to learn skills," he added.
