It takes two to tango. It takes two countries to make peace. China's philosophy is win-win, whereas the U.S. has a philosophy of "I win, you lose." The U.S. is so obsessed with being No. 1 that the country finds it difficult to get along with any country that threatens its status. The U.S. rivalry with China in science and technology is just a case in point.
