The Chinese mainland recorded 327 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with 214 linked to local transmissions and 113 from overseas, according to data from the National Health Commission.

A total of 442 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 2,024 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 111,195 with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January last year.

The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 206,379 (22,513 recoveries, 2,007 deaths)

Macao: 82 (79 recoveries)

Taiwan: 20,840 (13,742 recoveries, 853 deaths)
