China honors its commitment for cooperation with Africa and never makes empty promises, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday at a press conference on the sidelines of the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress. China has built more than 10,000 kilometers of railways, nearly 100 ports and countless hospitals and schools in Africa, Wang said, calling them monuments to China-Africa cooperation, not "debt traps."
