North China's Zhangjiakou, the co-host city of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, has benefited from infrastructure construction, improvements in employment and economic growth, said Guo Jianren, the Yuanzihe Village Party branch secretary of the Communist Party of China in Zhangjiakou City and a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC). Addressing a press conference ahead of the second plenary meeting of the fifth session of the 13th NPC on Tuesday, Guo said Beijing 2022 has helped promote tourism in Zhangjiakou and increased locals' income.
