The Chinese mainland recorded 325 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, with 175 linked to local transmissions and 150 from overseas, according to data from the National Health Commission.

A total of 443 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 2,407 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 111,520 with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January last year.

The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 233,065 (22,901 recoveries, 2,287 deaths)

Macao: 82 (79 recoveries)

Taiwan: 20,869 (13,742 recoveries, 853 deaths)
