Team China's Liu Mengtao won the gold medal in the men's middle distance sitting event of para biathlon in the Zhangjiakou competition zone, north China's Hebei Province, on March 8 at the Winter Paralympics. The 20-year-old claimed the bronze medal in the men's sprint sitting para biathlon on March 5.

With her guide Li Yalin, China's Wang Yue claimed the bronze medal in the women's middle distance vision impaired event of para biathlon on March 8 in Zhangjiakou.
