Japan is imposing additional sanctions on Russia and Belarus over Ukraine, the government announced on Tuesday.
The country will ban exports of oil refining equipment to Russia and dual-use products to Belarus, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno told a press conference.
A total of 32 Russians and Belarusians, including government officials and business magnates, plus 12 entities, including military-related companies, were added to the list of people facing asset freezes in Japan.
