Russia is now the single largest target of global sanctions, according to sanctions watchlist site Castellum.ai.

A total of 2,754 sanctions had already been imposed on Russia before February 22, but a further 2,778 were imposed in the days following Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine, bringing the total to 5,532 - overtaking Iran's 3,616.
