China welcomes UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet to visit the country, including a visit to Xinjiang in May, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Wednesday.
Zhao said both sides are consulting on the specific arrangements of Bachelet's visit, adding that China would ensure convenience during her visit.
