Chinese folk artists create edible and decorative Olympic mascots

As the 2022 Olympic mascot Bing Dwen Dwen gains popularity, some chefs have been creative in their making of traditional buns in north China's Jinzhong City. These colorful buns are known as "Hua Mo," a national intangible cultural heritage. The head chef of the bakery says the fermentation process is quite tricky as certain parts of these buns require different fermentation times in order to avoid cracks and ensure the dough's consistency.
