A leader of the far-right Proud Boys group, Enrique Tarrio, appeared in a court hearing on charges related to the U.S. Capitol riot in 2021. He is charged alongside five co-defendants of the group with conspiring to "stop, delay and hinder the certification of the electoral college vote".
