The Venezuelan Petroleum Chamber said the country could increase its oil production by 400,000 barrels a day to help replace Russian oil in North America. The Chamber's President Reinaldo Quintero said Venezuela is capable of raising its production from the current 800,000 barrels per day to 1.2 million. His remarks came amid reports of a recent visit by U.S. officials to Caracas to meet with government officials.
