China's Yu Jing is the only female ice hockey player to be part of the Beijing Winter Paralympics, and the third woman in history to play Para ice hockey.

As a former wheelchair basketball player, Yu switched to ice hockey two years ago. On March 8, International Women's Day, she made her Paralympic ice hockey debut. Yu hopes her Paralympic presence encourages more women to participate in Para ice hockey and compete on the international stage.
