China's political advisory body has just concluded its annual session in Beijing. The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) focused on economic growth, carbon neutrality, COVID-19 policies, education, demographics and other topics over the past week. Its members brought up nearly 6,000 proposals to the session, of which nearly 5,000 were officially registered for deliberation.
