- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the coming days, the Ukrainian government-run Ukrinform news agency reported on Wednesday, citing Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak.

- U.S. President Joe Biden branded his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a "war criminal" Wednesday. A Kremlin spokesperson said Biden's comments about Putin are "unacceptable and unforgivable rhetoric."

- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday asked the United States to "do more" to help Ukraine defend itself against the ongoing military operation by Russia.
