Facebook allows posts calling for violence against Russians

Meta Platforms is allowing Facebook and Instagram users in some countries to call for violence against Russia and Russian soldiers, according to internal emails seen by Reuters on Thursday.

The social media company is also temporarily allowing certain posts that call for the death of Russian President Vladimir Putin or Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in countries that include Russia, Ukraine and Poland, according to internal emails sent to content moderators.
