Prior to his address on Friday, U.S. President Joe Biden spent 49 minutes on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reported CNN citing two officials familiar with the call.

Zelenskyy also confirmed the phone call on his Twitter account. In his address, Biden has detailed the new measure he was going to announce regarding U.S. trade with Russia.
