Croatian Paralympic Committee President Ratko Kovacic visited the Winter Paralympic Village in Zhangjiakou on Saturday. Kovacic, who has attended 10 editions of the Paralympic Games, spoke highly of the facilities and the organizing work of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics.

He said the event brings people together. "I have a very good impression here. China has done a very successful job in preparation and hosting the Paralympics. I think the volunteers are quite good, and they are kind and helped me solve many problems," he said.

"I think the closing ceremony will be very successful just like the opening ceremony. In this special period of the pandemic, the Games show a feeling of bringing everyone together.
