The three Winter Paralympic Villages in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou were temporary homes for athletes and team officials. Since the pre-opening of the village, the accommodation, catering and other service teams there have received thank you notes from the delegations for their hard work and making everyone feel at home.

In the Winter Paralympic Villages, the daily life service area provided 24-hour services for delegations, including cleaning, supplying daily necessities, providing conference rooms and massage rooms, assisting in laundry and shoe drying, and much more. The staff also organized many traditional Chinese cultural events, such as dragon dances, running dry boats, and writing Chinese characters. These activities enabled the foreign athletes to learn about Chinese culture. The catering area was also working 24 hours a day to meet the needs of athletes and team officials from different countries and regions.
