Expert: Antigen tests important in identifying the Omicron variant

The Chinese mainland has reported 1,807 new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases, as well as over 1,300 asymptomatic infections. Professor Wu Zhiwei, director of the Center for Public Health Research at the Medical School of Nanjing University, says that antigen tests will expedite results, which is important in identifying the Omicron variant.
