Foreign military instructors worked at the Yavoriv military facility near the Polish border that was reportedly hit by a Russian air strike on Sunday, Reuters quoted Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov as saying.

A ministry representative told Reuters the ministry was still trying to establish if any of the instructors were at the center at the time of the attack.

The air strike on the facility reportedly left nine killed and 57 wounded, according to Reuters.

Russia has issued no immediate comments on the reported attack.
