At least two people were killed and 24 were wounded in shootings in the U.S. city of Chicago over the weekend, including a mass shooting in South Chicago that left seven people seriously hurt, local media CBS Chicago reported.

Two people are in critical condition, and five others are in serious condition in the shooting at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Chicago Sun Times reported.

A car pulled up to a group of people outside a pizzeria, and after a short discussion, a man in the vehicle opened fire and wounded seven, said local police.
